The role
We're looking for Special Projects Associates to help deliver high-impact projects for leading AI labs and other frontier clients. You'll own defined workstreams within larger projects, take daily responsibility for the quality of what we ship, and coordinate the experts who produce it.
You'll work closely with a Special Projects Lead, who owns the client relationship and the commercial picture. The standard of what reaches the client depends on you. Requests come in quickly, often with 24-hour turnaround expectations. We need someone who enjoys getting stuck in. You won’t just work out what needs doing; you’ll do it too. That means prioritising well, flagging problems early and spending most of your time making things happen.”
What you'll do
Own and manage defined workstreams, taking responsibility for delivery from kick-off to sign-off
Review and quality-control expert outputs daily before they reach the client
Brief, onboard and coordinate experts and freelancers, giving them the context and feedback they need to deliver
Keep accurate records of task status, expert assignments and delivery progress
Spot recurring quality issues and work with your project lead to fix them at source
Contribute to the operational processes and playbooks as the team scales

Key requirements
- Strong academic record, or equivalent experience that shows you’re quick to learn and think sharply
- 1-3 years project management experience in management consulting or start up operations
- Exceptional attention to detail: you notice the thing that's almost right
- Comfortable with ambiguity and happy to ask rather than guess
- Clear, professional communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
- Organised enough to run several workstreams at once, keeping quality high and deadlines met
- You enjoy doing the work, not just coordinating it
